The Fact of a Body: A Murder and a Memoir by Alexandria Marzano-Lesnevich

challenging dark emotional reflective medium-paced

4.25

A very interesting memoir of how a lawyer and a murderer cross paths, in both present and past.
Marzano-Leznevich gives good insight into how overcoming trauma, through understanding others and how they overcome/forgive/move on from their own pasts, can help to challenge your own views and perspectives of the world.
A very moving memoir, a bit of a difficult read at times and a little slow in the end; nonetheless, a worthwhile read.
