The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch
Did not finish book. Stopped at 8%.
Every reading session got me through only a few pages before I got bored. The world-building is so detailed, but I never connected with the characters nor found a motivation to follow this story. Already, it's clear that this world is very intense, and I doubt it will get less graphic as things continue. Nothing egregious happened, but I'd rather read a version of this story I like better and will stick with Six of Crows.
Graphic: Trafficking and Abandonment
Moderate: Alcoholism, Child abuse, Gore, Violence, and Blood
Minor: Bullying, Child death, Grief, and Fire/Fire injury
