The writing in this book was really nice but after experiencing sex scene after sex scene it just gets repetitive and boring.
I find none of the relationships in this book believable or having an ounce of chemistry. The only one I was a bit interested was Justina because she was the first, which I also want to mention I find it weird how Justina was seduced then killed however the vampire let most of her male lovers live after feeding from them until they died for other reasons later on.
Even with our two main nameless characters, everything happened so fast and there was nothing to draw me in to their dynamic. I found it hard to believe our second mc would be so easily convinced to join a vampire in her coffin after spending half the book thinking about protecting and loving her son.
Vampire mc transforming Leonard was so out of nowhere and out of character? She spent up til then mentioning how she wouldn’t want a vampire partner because then she’d have to look out for someone else possibly exposing them, and then she goes and turns a random girl?
