Looking for Alaska by John Green

5.0

Welcome to the review of my hands down favourite book in the history of books.
This is the fourth John Green's book I read and I can assure you his style didn't bore me for a second, which is a hard task.
What would this novel be without its human, deep and quirky characters? Well, nothing. Every character in this book has something to say, a story to tell. Even Pudge who doesn't happen to feel like he can speak up and somebody would listen, ends up giving you more to think than you would ever imagine.
I didn't fall in love with the characters, I might haven't even liked them if I knew them. But I listened to their stories, their thoughts and I understood them. I found myself thinking with them, wanting to punch and hug them (sometimes at the same time).
This story surprises you and never lets you down(at least it didn't with me).
The ending is not only necessary but perfect too. I couldn't myself, find another ending that gave the story sense.
The thing I loved the most about Looking For Alaska is that I felt the story didn't end when the book did, because it continued in me, in my head. Bouncing here and there. Not giving me a distraction like most books but forcing me to think.
If you don't read it you're completely missing out so I will just blame you.
