Absolutely loved book 2! It certainly did not suffer from book 2 syndrome at all and boy can Andrea Stewart write a battle scene! Multiple POVs just had me. 

I love how each truth is uncovered and more little breadcrumbs are sprinkled about. The magic system expands in its uniqueness, the tension is high, soany moving parts!
