This Is What Happy Looks Like
by Jennifer E. Smith
Genre: first loves, dealing with celebrity status, small town life
Summary: Ellie and Graham accidentally start an email conversation on opposite sides of the country. What started out as a simple accident turns into the possibility of something more. However, Graham is the current hearttrob of the silver screen and because of a long kept secret in Ellie's family background, she has to avoid any and all paparazzi, which of course, proves easier said than done in the small town where Ellie lives and Graham is currently filming his new movie.
Response: Like her other book, The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight (try saying that 5 times fast...) this book was a cute love story. Graham and Ellie are some average teens who have to deal with uncommon things, be it a movie career or family secret. They have a very sweet relationship. The only thing that I didn't like about the novel was the lack of resolution at the end. Other than that, it was a lovely way to spend the afternoon.
