In Every Mirror She's Black by Lọlá Ákínmádé Åkerström
3.0

This book was hard for me to get through as I was listening on audio. Perhaps, hard copy would have been better. This was the first time I had listened to a book where the narrators had accents.

It was good for me to be exposed to a story with an international setting. I learned that women’s relationship challenges are universal.

I liked Brittany and Kemi’s storylines. Luna’s, not so much. This book was recommended to me as a favorite from the past year. I don’t share that sentiment.
