The Ritual by Shantel Tessier is dark, filthy, and utterly addictive. From the very first page, it pulls you into a world of privilege, power, and dangerous games — where the line between desire and depravity isn’t just blurred, it’s obliterated. This isn’t your standard dark romance; it’s a taboo fever dream with a pulse.
The chemistry between Ryat and Blakely is molten hot, the kind that makes you forget to breathe. The spice? Through the roof. Tessier doesn’t hold back — this is full-throttle, no-apologies heat with a side of corruption and ritualistic edge play.
The plot keeps you hooked with secret societies, shocking twists, and the delicious tension of wondering just how far these characters will go. It’s equal parts disturbing and addictive, which is exactly what makes it so good.
Why not a full 5 stars? Just a personal preference — a few moments had me raising an eyebrow instead of fanning myself. But that didn’t stop me from devouring it in record time.
