I love every single thing about this ARC. I finished reading it in one afternoon. The story is so well written. The character development and world building is superb. I especially love that we get Hawke, Blake and Enzo's point of view throughout the book. Each of them have a dark history. I understand there is some crossover from Ria Wilde's No Saint Universe, however this book is a complete stand alone.
Ria Wilde's brilliant writing drew me in. I became so invested in all three main characters- I felt their pain, fierce love for each other and all the anguish each of their lives have been dealt. This book gave me all the feels.
This was my first MMF book, but the scenes occur between friends with a such a deep connection that I loved it so much more than I ever thought possible.
Hawke was drawn to Blake almost the moment they met, and I immediately felt in my heart how protective he was of her and how falling in love with her was inevitable for him.
Pretty Reckless is violence, sex, love, vengeance and redemption wrapped up in a spicy af, fast paced story that truly blew me away. This is my third Ria Wilde book and with each I have found myself entangled into the darkest depths of the main characters.
Content warnings include: graphic violence, blood, use of weapons, mentions of attempted SA and attempted murder of a minor (past), violence against FMC (not by MMC’s), organized crime/Mafia, grief/loss & extremely morally gray characters. And I devoured every single part of it!!
I was sent a free book and am voluntarily leaving this honest review. Thank you Ria Wilde and PeachyKeen Author Services for allowing me the opportunity to read this before its official release.
