Although I did overall like this book I struggled to stay engaged in it.
This is an enjoyable relatively light heated story about Annie who gets left at the altar and her old friend Patrick that she bumps into in the aftermath of her failed wedding. Annie and Patrick head off on her once in a lifetime honeymoon to Australia together and there are no prizes for guessing what happens next.
There are a few other little turns along the way but there are no big surprises in this book. For me it lacked some of the magic of LJW's other books but it is still a well written and easy book to dip in an out of. If you're looking for a solid romance story this will do the job.
