DNFing another Sophie Kinsella book (at 39% this time, when the last time was 40%, if that tells you anything).
I had to check to make sure this book was a romance. At the 39% mark it's still ENTIRELY unclear that the main character and that one random dude (mentioned for a page at the beginning of the book who showed up again like a chapter or two ago showing his ass) have any potential of being a romantic pairing.
Sophie's pacing just isn't for me. This is the opposite of insta-love. Prediction: If When they do fall for each other, it'll be in the last 15% of the book and feel super abrupt.
