What. a. letdown. This book started off so great and so quickly! I guess that may be it's first downfall. Too quick, too soon.
About 2/3 of the way through, the pace fell SO SLOW that I legitimately got bored. Bored with a THRILLER?!
As the pace began to pick up towards the end, I felt the final twist was... Dumb? Maybe not quite that, but I really didn't like it. I felt it just didn't help the book at all.
I started the book thinking it'd be a solid 4⭐, then it dipped to 3⭐, and I'm being generous because I know I'm just salty and sticking with 2.5.
I had high hopes because I LOVED No Exit. What a shame.
