Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones

3.0

Howl's Movie Castle was an unexpected adventure for our fmc Sophie Hatter, who was an anxious, introverted teenager who didn't like to stray too far from home and her family business of making hats— that I'd until she is cursed by a witch I to an old women and Sophie goes through mate than just changes to her physical appearance.

I love me a strong fmc, and Sophie was a delight! I loved Howl's reactions to her and how she constantly managed to provoke him. I found Sophie odd at first because she constantly talks to inanimate objects, but that becomes important later on. There are so many subtle nuisances in this story that I didn't catch or foresee until the very end when it was revealed.

All in all, it's a good fantasy book full of magic and adventure!
