I would definitely recommend this collection of short stories, although some grabbed me more than others. My favorites told of unique relationships between people such as the widower who finds hope in the local teens, the young woman who begins to see her boyfriend for who he really is, or the adult son who has to find a home for his father as the dementia robs him of all his inhibitions. Some stories were just sad and some were laugh-out-loud funny in their disturbing truth. Others were beautifully written, while some were harsh in their reality.
