I read the Women Are Some Kind of Magic Series out of order. The Witch Doesn't Burn In This One is still my favorite from the three. The Princess Saves Herself In This One was probably my least favorite but I did think it was the most personable to the author herself. What I didn't like about this selection of poems is that the format of each poem were pretty much the same (in comparison to her previous two books). I'm also personally not a fan of very romantic poems, but I did think that the ones she wrote were sweet and helped contrast some of the sadder topics discussed in this piece.
I always say that you should give a poetry book a try and just see how you feel. Everyone interprets poems differently which is why I think it's really hard to critique/review!
