The Perfectionists by Sara Shepard

3.0

Don't get me wrong, I love Sara Shepard's writing and her many girlish tales of betrayal and deceit. I did like this book, Shepard's writing is so inviting and it's easy to turn page after page, HOWEVER there were many points where I became uninterested, unconvinced and numbingly irritated. Like there is no way that everyone of these girls have shady two-faced people in their lives. But more importantly I wish the girls in this book were smarter. I'm rolling my eyes but I do want to know what happens next. Not sure if I'll be following up with the second installment of this duology The Good Girls.
