I finished this book a few days ago, and I haven't written the review because I just don't know how to explain my thoughts on this book. It's an incredibly complex and nuanced novel, which leads to complex and nuanced feelings, and I just don't know if I can accurately sum them up.

Let me start by saying that this is a fantastic conclusion to this trilogy. Not that I ever doubted Hobb, but she pulls off a very satisfying ending, bringing together so many threads in ways I think most readers will be happy with. And there wasn't a moment where this book slowed down, even though it didn't feel too fast either.
As has been the case the entire trilogy, Hobb's character work is fantastic in Ship of Destiny. Each character has complex motivations and arcs that all interweave to make a lovely tapestry of a story. And the conflicts all come to the most beautiful clash as the series starts to close.

Honestly, this is a review for the final book in a trilogy. If you're wondering if it's worth finishing, it absolutely is.
