I’m going to be freaking honest right now and tell you that I didn’t want to read this book. Not because I didn’t love the characters because I do but because I wanted something new. A new romance. I personally thought that this book had too many POVs and felt all over the place. I had a feeling it would go this way especially since I read the next generation series. I still wasn’t a fan and didn’t feel like it was necessary, the book was fine. If you want to see how their babies were made then sure go ahead and read it. It was pretty much just setting everything up for the next gen series IMO



I was told I needed to read this book before the next one. I’m here to tell you that don’t need to. I read it so you don’t have to. SPOILERS PLAY BY PLAY AHEAD…

Colt had that affair with the professors wife (Eleanor) a year and a half ago and she came back saying he’s her kid (Jaxon) father. Ashlyn is understandably pissed especially since he kept calling it rumors before he even took the paternity test. They finally get around to doing the paternity test and Ashlyn sees the baby for the first time and knows he’s a Thorne. After they do the test and are heading home Ashlyn starts telling Colt that he needs to give a relationship with Eleanor a real shot. Ashlyn thinks that Jaxon deserves to have both parents together. I felt like this was so random because technically Eleanor and Colt were just hooking up and weren’t together. Apparently Colt feels guilty because deep down he knew the kid wasn’t just a rumor and that he was in fact the boys father but he ignored it. During the next few chapters it’s pretty much Colt telling Ashlyn over and over that he loves her and wants to be with her and her telling him to be with Eleanor, I was annoyed. They are at the party that Henry is throwing and Ashlyn decides she wants to go home so she does and she also makes Colt go back to the party. Well of course he starts getting hit on. He tells the girl he has a girlfriend and her response is “that’s never stopped you before” blah blah blah Colt ends up accidentally pushing a girl down because she was all up on him and now that girl is saying he isn’t the nice guy everyone thinks he is and that he pretty much abuses women. Of course paparazzi were around and caught it all. At least Colt is smart this time and goes home and tells Ashlyn before she reads about it in the morning. Henry see the article and is pissed!!! Henry tells Colt he needs to fix it and while he’s at it he needs to sign something saying there won’t be another stunt like this or else he’s kicked off the team. Eleanor calls Colt and asks him to go out to coffee. I hate this woman! Ashlyn goes into Seabird where Mia works and looks a mess. It’s there where she finds out about the phone call Colt and Eleanor had. Colt ends up calling Ashlyn and telling her that he’s going to meet with Eleanor in a few days and that it’s not a date that she just wants to talk. Ashlyn tells Colt that regardless if he’s the father of Jaxon that she’s all in. She can’t picture her life without Colt. Well duhhhhh I could have told her that. Anyways, Colt meets with Eleanor and during that meeting the lawyer calls Eleanor with the results. Colt refused to hear them without Ashlyn, apparently at this meeting Eleanor asked if he wanted to give their relationship another try KNOWING THAT HE HAS A WOMAN! The audacity of this bitch. Of course he told her no because he’s madly in love with Ashlyn. Well Eleanor then wanted to meet with Ashlyn, alone. DUN DUN DUNNNNN. During their meeting Eleanor tells Ashlyn that Colt is the father, that the lawyer already told her. That she also only asked Colt to give them another shot because of how standoffish Ashlyn was at the paternity test . Well all is right in the world because they are going to co-parent Jaxon. Eleanor needs help financially and just raising Jaxon as a whole and Ashlyn is game to help. They go and tell Colt together. Then him and Ashlyn fuck. A few chapters later Ashlyn finally stands up to the puck bunnies and stakes her claim on Colt and it was pretty hot not going to lie. He ends up proposing to her and she says yes.


Kate finds out the new meds she’s on canceled out her current birth control and she’s pregnant with her and Mack’s baby. She of course yee-haws around and doesn’t tell Mack right away. We know he already has 2 daughters from his previous relationship. Finally Kate tells Mack that she’s pregnant and how worried she is and honestly he’s so happy. Mack then asks Kate to marry him. After going back and forth and him proving he’s wanted this before she was pregnant she says “YES” Then they fuck in the bathroom at the party. Fast forward a few chapters and she’s with Mack over at his parents. Shes super sick and Mack’s dad caught on right away that she’s pregnant but said he would keep his mouth shut. Well it doesn’t last long and they get asked if she’s pregnant and she says yes. Woohoo!



Theo and Blake are buying a house and  moving in together since everyone else is moving out of the house. He wants to stay close to the school since she’s still there. I still think it’s so cute he calls her Baby Thorne. Henry has a big party and they’re all invited. While there Theo proposes to Blakely. Of course she says yes  Theo and Blakely are over at his parents house announcing their engagement and everyone is thrilled. Now it was time for Blakely to tell her mom. She gets there and everyone is there. Once it’s out that she’s getting married her brother says “pay up assholes”. Apparently they made a bet that Theo and Blakely would end up together.


Mia doesn’t have many parts and that’s because “don’t let me down” is her story. They are pretty much building Mia and Henry’s story on how they met and yada yada. I am excited for their story though. Way more than I am for this current book. Mia’s trying to find a job but the job she wants they found out she has an OF account and she doesn’t think they want her. Henry is so mysterious and knows literally everything about her and her family.


After alllllll that, it time jumps 10 years and it’s Jaxon’s chapter. Playing with all the other kids of some of the characters. It was cute.
