The Dollmakers: A Novel from the Fallen Peaks by Lynn Buchanan

Did not finish book. Stopped at 30%.

Fabulous worldbuilding with a rich tapestry of history and culture that I was very interested in. However, the main character is incredibly childish, selfish, and frustrating to read from the perspective of. Shean is supposed to be an adult but often reads as a teen or younger. I have no doubt this author is talented and if there are future books set in this world I will happily give them a try, but I sadly won’t be finishing this one.
