From reading the reviews, I saw lots of people didn’t like the ending. Which made me have low expectations, and then I was pleasantly surprised! I can see why some people didn’t like it, as it’s sort of out of genre, but for me, I thought it was kind of fun. In a murdery kind of way. I think if you’re a huge Sager fan just go in with an open mind. I’m also not always a fan of the alcoholic unreliable narrator, so the end felt like a nice departure.
