Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens

4.5

I don’t know what to say about this book other than it was incredible. From the moment I picked it up, I felt like I couldn’t put it down.
From the vivid descriptions of the marsh, to the devastating scenes of Kya and her loved ones, this book was absolutely captivating.

Set in the time between 1950 - 1970 it felt quite similar to To Kill A Mockingbird at some points. It explored race, prejudice, loneliness and just about everything in between. Can we please take a moment to appreciate Jumpin’ and Mabel, I just loved reading about their relationship and how it developed
