Yeah I really didn't #vibe with this book. I kinda feel weird rating it so low as I'm not reading it in its native language, but the writing felt so needlessly repetitive and clunky. For a 280 page book, this was a real slog and I basically had to force myself to finish it. There some interesting ideas here but they just get bogged down in repetition and characters that aren't that interesting. Surprised this won the international booker but hey ho, just not for me I suppose! There's a lot of poo in this book. Seriously.
