I picked up this audio book because it was on sale and was in the mood for something witchy and creepy for October. The beginning was great, but then I got annoyed at the characters. I took a little break and came back, listening to the book at 1.3x speed, which was a good move and enjoyed the story as it moved a little quicker. I didn't love the story, but was invested enough in the characters to want to finish the story and see how it all shook out.
