Palace of Treason by Jason Matthews

4.0

Expansive, enthralling, propulsive...I don't mean to be hyperbolic, but this may be some of the best spy fiction being written in a long, long time. The stakes for Dominikia and Nate, a highly-placed Russian intelligence officer / CIA mole and her handler/lover, respectively, are absurdly high, both in tradecraft and and their ill-advised but impossible to stop relationship. The adrenaline fairly leaps off every page, and much as with its predecessor, I couldn't put it down. Really can't wait to see what happens next.
