This wasn’t my favorite in the series so far, but it gave a lot of background information on Celaena. So I would definitely suggest reading it for the background info, but if you’ve read Throne of Glass, you know it has a sad ending.

My order in reading was:
1. Throne of Glass
2. Crown of Midnight
3 The Assassin’s Blade
Next I’ll read Heir of Fire and on.
