Gray Matter by Becky McGraw

5.0

I was lucky enough to win an ARC of Gray Matter. I was so happy, I could have cried. I cannot begin to tell you how long I have waited for the uptight accountant's story to be told. It was worth every breath I took while I waited and dreamed of what trouble Becky McGraw would put him through.

Gray is out of his comfort zone. He may have been from DC. He may have once worked in DC, but he likes the comfort of the Dallas Compound where he happily plays with digits all day long and halfway into the night. He already had his world turn upside down in DC. The last thing Gray needs is another Mona.

His world is turned upside down in a coffee shop. Talk about first impressions!!! Michaela Girabaldi is his complete opposite. She is loud. She is disorganized. Her thrift shop cloths conflict with Armani is all you need to know to realize fireworks are going to fly.

Gray heads back to the office in a terrible mood. Mickie has interrupted his state of calm. More Fireworks---she has applied for and been hired to work in the new office. In this story fireworks are in the form bullets are flying at Mickie. What is stalker Gray to do?? He comes to her rescue.

Get ready for a rollercoaster ride of suspense. Mobsters, Cartel, her brother, team members all make life difficult for Gray. Hawk is in his element -teasing, harrassing, flirting. Gray is in he element going over books trying to save Mickie, convict Mickie, love Mickie, hate Mickie.

Grab this book. Dive in deep. The excitement will have you biting your nails. The sexual tension will have you looking for a walk-in freezer. And the ending---Holy Hot Tamales---
