When Eden Falls by Alana Faye Wilson

5.0

Alana Faye Wilson, you have entered the world of Sci-fi books with a bang!

This book was everything I loved and so much more! It might be a bit on the shorter side for sci-fi but everything that is important to this story has been incorporated. The world building is amazing, well its our home planet so there is not too much left to the imagination, and the idea of the Akquarians is genius! They came out of the ocean so of course they were kind of spared from the apocalyptic brunt of whatever drove the humans away from Earth. This whole story is so genius and I really need to know what happens next.

Also I'm a huge Dybgo stan so I really hope him and Eden are endgame, although I highly doubt it.

Tropes:
- strong fmc
- new world
- dystopian society
- unrequited love
- heart-wrenching friendships
- found family?

I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to dip their toe into the sci-fi ocean but also for anyone who is looking for an absolutely addicting and jaw dropping read. I nearly missed my train stop thanks to this book, so its definitely worth the five stars!!
