The plot? Meh Hallmark Christmas Movie-esque.

The Characters? Cat is queen and Noah.... No thank you. Their relationship felt very forced and not in a good way.  Noah's daughter, Sara is supposed to be 12years old but makes decisions and acts at least 16yo. It makes her character hard to believe.

The smut? Meh. 1/2 🌶️ at best. Their interactions were just cringy in a way.

My main ick with this book?  The amount of disordered eating verbage in this book turned me off very quickly.  There are so many mentions of not only what Cat is eating constantly, but "making up" for eating bad food by exercising. There are constant comments about her body size throughout the book. It's one thing if the character is having those thoughts, but there were even weight stigmas spewed out of the MMC. This was my first Lucy Score book and will most likely be my last. Personally, not a fan.
