War Storm by Victoria Aveyard

1.0

I tolerated this book. The plot wasnt outstanding, there were no betrayals other than Cals, and Victoria seems to be afraid of killing people. If you don't want to kill your favorite characters add at least one good guy to kill later.

I think Mare handled Cal's betrayal much better than a person with PTSD who's got someone who gets their panic attacks and takes care of them when they have a panic attack don't just stop having them when that person decides not to be there for them like that anymore.

I also wasn't a fan of her going back to him "just for a night" when he hadn't changed his mind yet. It made her seem like she didn't care about equality and the Scarlett Guard as much as she tells herself she does.

I wasn't pleased when it switched to Evangeline, or Iris, or Maven's point of view, I barely tolerated Cal's, I listened to it on audiobook and the narrators played a part in it. I ended up speeding up the volume on their parts, I want to see what Mare is doing. I only pretty much care about Mare!
