Did not finish book. Stopped at 0%.

Formulaic, unoriginal and uninspired. I should have known that this would have no depth or nuance to it whatsoever given the author's certain... political leanings... which prove that he clearly doesn't understand/believe in the very subject matter that he's writing about. How can you expect someone to write a good rebellion story when they condemn them in the real world?
Other things that I didn't like about it:
- The casual misogyny/homophobia/transphobia: Constantly saying shit like "crying like a girl" "cut off the parts of you that make you a man" etc etc. We're still doing this shit?
- MULTIPLE instances of rape and SA for the sole purpose of setting up a situation to prove how good and heroic Darrow is. We're still doing this shit?
- Sorting characters into houses based on a dominant personality trait.... LMFAOOO we're still doing this shit???
