The Piece That Fits
by N.J. Gray
I have to say I really enjoyed this book. It has a good message, It talks about having struggles and that you can always bring yourself out of it. The story does gloss over mental illness but it does it in a respectful way. I have to say how the main male character helps the leading female character and tells her she can do what she wants and to live her life for herself and not others is just so eye opening. It definitely is a book that you can relate to and enjoy in one sitting cause it isn't a book that can be put down easily. There's everyday problems and family issues and families coming together and just good relationships and healing relationship and just a love that comes from hate/misunderstandings but just explosive when they get their stuff together and figure out they are good for each other.
Blurb about the book:
Avery Fox is a woman that people who don't know well enough think her life is so easy and that she is spoiled. But really she isn't living for herself she just goes along with what other's have planned for her. She got into a really bad accident with her father a long while ago, and he dies in the end and she just can't deal as good as she would like. Losing her dad has torn her family apart, her mother tosses her brother Danny away and rules her life to try to get it the way she wants to be successful and not like her other child. It puts stress on the relationship between Danny and Avery. But Danny comes and helps her when she splits from her boyfriend and needs a place to stay. That brings in his band members who live with him and that includes lead singer Liam Lockwood that doesn't like her because he thinks she took her parents away from Danny and that's why they treated him differently and her like the golden child. Over time he gets to see it differently and he gets taken by her and he falls for her.
It definitely is a must read, a really good book about people thinking bad about someone and thinking things that aren't true and that they shouldn't judge what they don't understand. A book about understanding and growing from mistakes and about falling in love, there's a lot of steamy scenes between characters and just a really good book with good characters and good storyline that you won't want to put down. I can't wait to see if their are gonna be more to this book and this series.
