I love a widow getting a second chance at happiness! Lady Helena has been such a good friend to the heiresses that I am thrilled to know she’s with Maxwell. Their wonderful chemistry, glances across dinner tables and ballrooms, and meddling in the sisters’ love lives are such a perfect fit and I adore them.
Maxwell came a long way (not that Helena didn’t) and I’m really proud of him. Even in business and in regards to his familial relationships, he’s making good choices all around. This happy ending felt fought for, and I loved that about it.
