Can’t really rate the story for obvious reasons but based on how engaged I was, and how enjoyable it was to read, this is probably my favorite classic I’ve read so far. I love the dry and fluid prose, the world building, the characters, bla bla bla. It somehow kept me engaged throughout the many long-winded and repetitive yappathons. I also love the way you learn things that completely recontextualizes certain characters or previous events and you don’t know who’s right or what actually happened and what not.

I hope this novel isn’t just an anomaly due to it being incomplete or unrevised because I enjoyed this style and am very eager to read his other works.
