The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet by Becky Chambers
5.0
This book was warm and fuzzy! The characters jumped right off the page, I really felt like they were real people I could sit down and have a cup of tea with! The plot was easy to follow and I found myself really engrossed in her writing style.
This book struck me as "social issue bingo" at some points - at times it felt a bit preachy and forced (using parallel fantasy scenarios to portray themes from real life) but it didn't tale away from the overall story or the "vibe" of the book.
