Isaac Zane is my 4th great grandfather so I was curious as I had.found this book when looking up the Zane family. It is interesting, however I feel as though some things were very over dramatized.and while I understand writing about relationships among the white settlers and the natives is very important to the story, it was extremely disparaging towards the natives and many things I had.to skim because it was upsetting. I think this story is important, however it is very uncomfortable.
