Learning Curve
by Max Monroe
emotional
funny
sad
max and monroe were not lying when they said this book is dramaaa đź’”
scottie and finn are brand new freshman at dickson university. scottie is a sweetheart cheerleader who has some sad secrets and gets dealt every bad card in the deck. finn is a little broken, a lot hot and willing to throw a few punches for the people he loves. their connection is instant, but they both have reasons to ignore it—until they don’t.
this book is very funny, but not a typical max monroe rom com, because it is also sad af. like don’t say i didn’t warn you because what you think are the worst parts aren’t, and the plot twist will break you. i honestly could have done without the added kick to the heart, but other than that, i love all of the angst and the very young people drama—which is so fun and to be expected in a college romance series.
if you’ve read their billionaire/winslow brothers series you get to see so many of those characters because these are the next generation kids. finn and scottie are friends or related to so many og characters and their children. yes, thatch and cassie’s son is everything you want him to be, and waiting for his book is going to be torture. what a fun, over the top emotional, hilarious start to this new series.
