Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel

I really enjoyed listening to this book. Nate's friend Eric told me about it and the plot sounded interesting. I liked how the characters' lives were woven together and how gracefully the book jumped back and forth in time. I just so happened to travel by airplane while reading this book and I was grateful that the airports were functioning, with planes taking off and landing. I won't look at airports the same. I haven't read The Stand by Stephen King but it's my mom's favorite book and I tried to tell her this book seems similar to The Stand. Reading this book after the 2020 pandemic made me grateful that covid wasn't as bad as the Georgia swine flu was in this book.
