This is my favorite book in the series! Jorge and Jazmine are so sweet and caring to each other. And the characters have so much personality. Jorge is my hero because he doesn't take crap from anyone and avoids drama, I would have loved to have that confidence when I was in middle school.
I think this book has great messaging for new teens.
Also I love how this author shows diversity. It is subtle and never brought it. People with different disabilities, skin tones, religions, and sexual orientation are all shown in these books yet it is never made a big deal. It brings me so much comfort and I wish more books tackled diversity with this kind of story telling.
I loved finding Mr. Raccoon in this book! I actually found him around and I felt so cool every time I spotted him! :)
