Rich Man, Poor Man by Irwin Shaw

5.0

When I read fiction I really just want an excellent story written by an excellent storyteller. This book was some excellent storytelling. I've been reading a lot of old fiction from the 1970s (this book was actually published in 1969) and finding that I love fiction from that era. I remember loving the old miniseries from 1976 with Nick Nolte, although I was only 13 at the time? I still remember it. This book is excellent. My Kindle version of the book had a short biography of author Irwin Shaw at the end, which I also enjoyed.
