This just took way too long for me to read. I just had to get it out of the way in the end because I realised the detailed writing was starting to put me down 😭
I was really hoping I would enjoy this but I can’t put my finger on what it is that put me off it. Sad.
However, I really appreciate the author’s vulnerability in even writing this kind of story and sharing it with the world. It’s well written and paints a really vivid picture. I guess it just wasn’t for me.

I’d definitely still recommend this for fans of A Little Life. Something still sad but slightly less traumatic.
