I thought this was a really interesting read, and I enjoyed the vignette in between of the swimming; however, I thought that there was too many details of the book shared in the summarized blurb. I also would have liked to see more of each of the stories or how they connected. This is more of a novella than a novel, which impacts the character development and the story.
All of the women felt like the others and I couldn't get into each of their narratives. I think with a second chapter for each, that would have changed and I would have enjoyed it a lot more. But the story itself was really intriguing and I liked it as an overall narrative.
