This picks up shortly after Heartache left off. Samir is still in town and of course Jade realizes, she is just not strong enough yet to end him. The story was fine but Jade irritated me in this one.

in every book she has tried to shield her friends from danger and every book, she has to learn that she really needs them. She has to trust them. In this story, she has ran off in order to protect them. She knows best. They just have to trust her.....um ok. Although she has not trusted them. I understand about her past and not wanting to repeat it but dang. How many examples of their loyalty does she need. Plus, they are not human! She makes decisions to get answers and her powers back.....with a vampire... that she barely knows. My handy dandy context clues tell me that is going to bite her in her a**. She does finally meet her Dad and it was about what I expected

The next book should be released this year so some questions should be answers and some butts should be kicked. I think the next time we see Jade, the force will be strong
