I don’t know if it’s getting lost in translation but I just don’t understand most of what happens in this book, it’s grotesque and nonsensical. I was picking up the overarching themes of fighting against outdated tradition, mob mentality, and the existential dread of existing at all, but I still didn’t vibe with the story.
Graphic: Suicide, Gore, Violence, Body horror, and Sexism
