Tarzan of the Apes by Edgar Rice Burroughs
4.0

Well, I would rate it as a great time-pass fiction book. It's a good read for pleasure. And the author does manage to throw some questions around that you would like to underline. The beauty of fiction lies in how close to reality it is, and in this parameter, this book lags a little, after all, it talks about a baby being raised in a jungle by apes! But when read uncritically, just for entertainment, it can be as entertaining as a Hollywood blockbuster. I read for pleasure after a long time, and I found it a good thing to come back to. Not recommended if you're picky about the literary value of your book, or the philosophical lessons it gives you. But if you want to read a book that keeps your attentions, entertains you, and doesn't expect you to be a lit major, this book is for you.
