Thinking in Systems: A Primer
by Donella H. Meadows
The book can be distilled to the summary in the Appendix. I admire the author's attempt to generalize the world into systems, but oftentimes it feels rigid, nuances lost, conclusions forced. I don't disagree with the many system-level observations, but it's hard to appreciate them in a void; it feels like a less clear Econ textbook. Well, maybe I'm just not a system thinker.
