Ping! by Rashi Dubey

Absolutely wonderful!
I've been in a self-proclaimed contemporary reading slump for what feels like AGES. In fact, it has been 13 months.

When two strangers accidentally end up in a chat conversation, it's serendipity for both parties.
When their relationship goes from virtual to in-person, they'll both need to reach outside of their comfort zones to discover if something this impractical can work in real life.

The relationship brings something out in both of them. They show each other that there is something more that they can hope for. But on top of that, they just make each other happy. Maybe it's not the best relationship for either of them from on outside observer, but being together makes them happy. It makes everything else in their lives manageable.

Completely relatable on so many levels, touching deeply the heart and the soul. Rashi Dubey tells story of life and love very thoughtfully, honestly, transparently, and engagingly through her book 'Ping'. Even more, the author seeks to reconcile the idea of what "home" means when you have spent much of your life serving others across the globe, adjusting to cultural differences, and having part of your heart in another corner of the globe.
