The end of a new great and favorite fantasy trilogy! I can't wait to explore more of the books in this universe! If these three were this good I can't imagine what the others will be like!

My most favorite aspect of this book was definitely the characters! I adored these characters and loved reading about each of the endings to their stories. Vin was a perfect example of how to write a great young female character! Watching her grow up and find herself in this harsh and unforgiving world that she is forced to live in. That she becomes someone important and makes a role for herself where she can fit and grow. It was great to see her become the hero that she was suppose to be and I was sad but happy to read where she ended up. Her partner Elend was equally as compelling and grew up to be a hero in his own right. More so a hero to his people and to those he cared about. His stories end was sad as well but it made sense to him as a character. Two in particular that I really loved and enjoyed their growth was Sazeed & Spook! Their journeys where each very compelling and exciting. It made so much sense to them and how their were some points in the story that connected to them only made it that much better to read!

The world of Mistborn continues to impress with it's magic and landscape! This magic system is one of my most favorite magic systems and I can't wait to explore this even more in the other books in the Cosmere. I want to see if there are others ways to use the metals and build upon the ones in this trilogy. What ways they did use the magic in this book was fascinating and a little horrifying in the ways that they were used. A new take on blood magic was in particular very horrifying at how it was used in an evil way.

The action and fighting scenes were ones that left me on the edge of my seat at points in the book. It felt like you were in a real battle and fighting alongside these group of characters. The themes of surviving afterwards and trying to figure out what comes after. How one has to sacrifice either parts of themselves or things for the bigger part of the world, it was very well done. It showed how even events in the past can still be present and how it can be hard to move forward or change certain ideals that haven't been changed in years or even decades.

I just really enjoyed this book! And was very proud that I chose to give this series and Cosmere universe a try! I can't wait to see what the other books are like and learn more about parts of this world that were left unanswered.
