His Wife's Sister by A.J. Wills
2.0
I have such mixed feelings about this book. The story line, great. The execution, not so much.
I was slightly confused who's perspective the book was from as it's third person for the first 80% of the book. Suddenly switching for the last 20% to first person for another character.
It would have worked so much better and built the story up more if it had been alternating through the whole book. I would have liked a bit of perspective from the wife too.
I will admit that I felt a little flat at the end. The whole way through I had an idea in my head of what was going on, based on the tag line of the book and what I thought was part of the story being built, but it took a sharp left turn, and I'm still not sure I ended up in the right place. I still have some questions and feel a little unresolved to be honest.
On the plus side it's a quick and easy one to get through.
