Christmas at Fox Farm by Helen Pollard

5.0

Christmas at Fox Farm is set during winter time at Fox Farm in an idyllic village.

Fox Farm is a wonderful setting and the author's fabulous descriptions brought it to life in my head. Alex and Daisy are quite different people but their love of the farm brings them closer in wanting to help Jean as well as make a success of the failing business. There are a couple of unlikable characters but on the whole, I loved the rest of the cast of characters as there is a real sense of family.

The path of romance is certainly not smooth between Alex and Daisy and I enjoyed reading of them getting closer and the chemistry between them was electrifying at times! It certainly had me develop a little crush on Alex and I was envious of Daisy more than a few times!

This is such a wholesome and delightful story that makes for a highly enjoyable read. The cold and wintery time of year meant it was perfect for snuggling up on the sofa with a hot cuppa and my Kindle whilst I was whisked away from the real world and transported into the fictional world of Fox Farm. A story that will leave you felling uplifted and a big smile on your face.
