I loved the first portion of this book! It was quirky. It was cute. It had a good (but not unbearable) amount of angst, and I liked the tension and chemistry between the two MCs.
However, the entire back half of the book was a complete let down. The plot resolution was messy. The characters didn’t arch. Stupid miscommunications were used to throw a wrench in the main relationship for no reason other than to seemingly stretch out the B Plot storyline. In the end, I disliked the plot “resolution” even more because the beginning had such really cute potential. I was left feeling like none of the initial stuff was capitalized on in a way that was meaningful to the characters.
